Mitchell is 11 years old and raised a total of $80 for the KTTC to help save the turtles! He is very interested in turtles and continues to research them in his spare time in order to become a volunteer at the new KTTC educational centre in Keene Ontario with his Mom.
Following a presentation from the KTTC, a grade 4 class at Dr. G.J. MacGillivray Public School in Courtice has started their very own turtle club! We look forward to hearing more about the club and what kind of projects these students will be working on.

Halloween Fundraiser 4-year-old Brandon Clark collected more than candy this past Halloween. While Trick or Treating he raised $100 dollars for the turtles! He and his family (including retired marine biologist Grandpa Bill) dropped off paper towels, greens, rubber gloves and sponges in addition to the cash donation.
Scarlet, Ruby and Margaret ran a lemonade stand this past summer. But this stand wasn't your garden variety allowance supplement...
