Good morning KTTC supporters!

It’s with great pleasure I announce that yesterday’s Open House was a tremendous success! We had 818 people through the doors in 4 short hours. The house was packed from wall-to-wall with people interested in turtles and the work that KTTC does. It was great to see such an amazing turnout and I hope you all had a chance to see the wonderful facility and work that gets done here.

If you weren’t able to make it to this year’s open house, don’t worry- we will have more opportunities in the future. Stay tuned! Some of the activities from yesterday included a tasty bake sale, small silent auction, turtle crafts for the children, informative talks with the amazing volunteers and a chance to see the educational turtles and cute, little hatchlings. It was a great time had by all and I hope everyone left having learned something new. SNAP and the Peterborough Examiner also stopped by, so make sure to check out their coverage in the upcoming weeks.

A huge THANK YOU to anyone who had a part in the day, including donors, volunteers, board members and participants. Without you we couldn’t have made the day the success it was. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Below are some photos from the event. Check out more on our Facebook and feel free to tag yourselves in them!
