The Kawartha Turtle Trauma Centre is pleased to announce that we have received an Ontario Trillium Foundation grant of $118,700 over 3 years. The funds will be used to hire a development/sustainability co-ordinator and to fund the Outreach program they will be responsible for. The coordinator will enhance our capacity for fund development, outreach and community engagement, increasing awareness of Ontario’s native turtle populations and providing opportunities for professionals, students and volunteers to become involved and learn about turtle rehabilitation.
